Gentle and caring
So glad I found this surgery. Reception staff are lovely and the dentist was gentle and caring. Each visit I’ve gone in either early or right on time. Dr Carl listened to my concerns and clearly explained what could be done. Best of all I felt no pain which has really helped me feel less anxious about future treatments coming up.
A really well run, professional surgery that cares for patients rather than just trying to overcharge them.

My experience
I came in as had tooth pain the day before but had reduced considerably when I went to appointment. Wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be in pain over Easter as had a visitor coming. Ended up having tooth removal surgery and have had nothing but pain since.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your recovery has been more uncomfortable than expected, especially over the Easter break.
When a tooth is removed due to infection, damage, or underlying issues, it’s not uncommon for pain and swelling to increase for a few days afterwards as part of the normal healing process. Antibiotics are only recommended when there are clear signs of active infection, as they don’t usually help with routine post-operative surgical discomfort and are not always in a patient’s best interests.
That said, we understand how frustrating this would have been, particularly when you were hoping to enjoy time with your visitor. We always encourage patients to contact us after treatment if pain feels worse than expected so we can assess healing and provide advice or arrange a review if needed.
We genuinely appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving how we support our patients before and after treatment.
