My experience
The whole experience was great but after having extraction and stitches in my mouth I feel like they should have given me pain killers when I asked, I knew how horrendous the pain is and I was told ask a GP. I had got strong pain meds from them in the past when I had an infection and really wished they'd given me a script for some as I'd asked as the pain the next 2 days from tooth out was horrible, panadol and nurofen didn't work at all!!!!

Current dental guidelines recommend paracetamol (Panadol) and ibuprofen (Nurofen) as the first line of pain management after dental procedures, as this combination has been shown to be very effective for most dental pain and inflammation. For this reason, dentists are advised to recommend these medications first before considering a stronger prescription of pain relief.
In some situations, there may also be medical or medication considerations that require a patient’s GP to be involved before prescribing additional medication, to ensure the safest care.
